Day 01: Ho Chi Minh Arrival

Welcome to Ho Chi Minh city!
Upon arrival, Authentic Asia tour guide will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 02: Ho Chi Minh - Mekong Delta 

The first day ride from Ho Chi Minh to Mekong Delta is the perfect start of this Vietnam mortorcycle tour top gear. Known as the “ rice bowl” of Vietnam, Mekong Delta is famous for its diverse plantations: rice, flower, fruits. After 3 hour riding, you`ll board a cruise in Vinh Long and explore its intricate waterways. Your visit include orchard garden where you are invited to sample tropical fruits then continue with a boat ride along the canals, capturing the fantastic view of Mekong. 
Proceeding to Can Tho city.

Day 03: Mekong Delta

The highlight of this morning is the visit to Cai Rang floating market where you encounter the exciting scene of trading on the surface of Mekong River. It is time to spot sampans, boats carrying fruits, farm products and many unique goods from the area.

Day 04: Mekong Delta - Ho Chi Minh - Da Lat

This morning is spent for relaxation at your hotel after 2 days full of activities. In the afternoon, ride your mortorbike back to Ho Chi Minh city to take the bus to the Da Lat. The interesting journey takes us past Tri An Lake. En route, we visit Dambri Waterfall near Bao Loc and explore tea, coffee and mulberry plantations.

Day 05: Da Lat - Lak Lake

Today we visit Dalat city with Crazy house and the Dragon pagoda. Continue the ride to visit the flower , tea & coffee plantations, mushroom farm where we can enjoy Vietnamese coffee and watch the way of Vietnamese making rice wine. Leave Dalat to head to highway 27 to Lak lake, we will stop en route to visit Mushroom Farm and Silkworm Factory before check-in to our bungalow resort or a traditional longhouse of the local population.

Day 06: Lak lake - Buon Ma Thuot

We cross the Lak lake by boat or traveling on the back of elephant (extra pay) and take photos of people farming and fishing. We will trek to the top of the Elephant rock mountain and take the Ho Chi Minh Trail to visit Dray Sap, Dray Nu falls. We can wim in Fairy pool as well as take a water massage from waterfall.

Day 07: Buon Ma Thuot - Kon Tum

This morning we will follow the Highway 14 to ride straight to Kon Tum via Pleiku. Along the road, we will keep on viewing endless coffee plantations on the Central Highland with peaceful villages located on the roadsides. After lunch, we ride along the Tun River and up over a pass to Kon Tum. In Kon Tum, we can visit the Catholic Church and the orphanage, based behind the Catholic Church in town and run by a group of French nuns. If time permits, you can also visit a beautiful Bahnar village near the town.

Day 08: Kon Tum - Hoi An

After breakfast in local restaurant we continue riding north on Highway 14 today on a bit of a bumpy section of the road to Kham Duc. The highlight of today is the visit to different minority villages. We will ride over Lo Xo Pass, making lots of stops along the way to meet De and Trieng minorities, who live along the Dak Po Ko river. After having lunch, we’ll keep on rolling on the highway to Hoi An and on the way, we’ll stop by to visit My Son, a world heritage site that is the Cham version of Angkor Wat. Most of the temples are dedicated to the Hindu god, Shiva, considered by the Cham as the founder and protector of their dynasties. We then get to hotel in Hoi An for a check-in.

Day 09: Hoi An EcoTour

Hoi An, nestled on the banks of the Thu Bon River. Before the river silted up, Hoi An was one of the most important trading ports in Southeast Asia, and a center for East-West exchange and trade. The rooftops of Hoian retain a magical old world Oriental feel and are a favorite subject for Vietnamese artists. In the early 1980s Hoian’s ancient quarters and historical monuments came under the protection and restoration efforts of UNESCO and the Polish government. Enjoy a free day to explore Hoi An by motorbike. With fine wining and dining (including a range of Hoi An specialties), impressive architecture, fantastic tailoring, endless shopping, and a glorious beach, there is no shortage of activities to indulge in.

Day 10: Hoi An - Hanoi

Take the flight to Hanoi city this morning. Hanoi is a vibrant city which boasts a rich history from Ly Dynasty in A.D 1010. From the narrow, bustling streets of the Old Quarter to the charming colonial buildings, shady avenue, blissful lakes, the city of Hanoi demonstrates its own uniqueness combining the west and the east. The first experience in Hanoi commences with a nice walk in the Old Quarter and welcome dinner.

Day 11: Hanoi - Duong Lam

Located about 30km far from Hanoi center, the ancient village of Duong Lam on the outskirts of Hanoi is also known as a museum of laterite, home to around 300 houses built three or four centuries ago with lateritic bricks. The village has also been described as the last stronghold of wet rice farming culture in northern Vietnam. A journey to Duong Lam village is a trip to trace back the origin of Vietnam’s culture and traditions. This is also the great chance to explore architecture of ancient structures while you wander along its narrow alleyways, visit temples dedicated to the two kings born there, and most interesting of all, chat with the inhabitants, the owners of a national treasure.

Day 12: Duong Lam - Mu Cang Chai

Depart from Duong Lam early in the morning for a long, scenic drive toward Mu Cang Chai, home to the longest and largest rice terraces in Vietnam. On the way, you will enjoy some break to see Muong ethnic minorities in Thu Cuc. Sunset shooting from mountain top will be arranged.

Day 13: Mu Cang Chai Walking

The day is left free for your own exploration in Mu Cang Chai and some villages nearby.

Day 14: Mu Cang Chai - Sapa

This morning, you ride your motorbike to La Pan Tan commune, one of the best places to spot the rice and panoramic views of the area. There will be encounters of Hmong and Thai people in the area. Head to Sapa and enjoy the panorama on Tram Ton, the highest pass of Vietnam, known as the Heaven Gate

Day 15: Sapa - Muong Khuong

Leave Sapa for a scenic ride to Muong Khuong. If you arrive in time for some a weekly market, you will have chance to join with local people to experience how they maintain their simple trade and socialize their relationships thanks to the market. In the afternoon, visit Vang Leng waterfall and the village of Nung people.

Day 16: Muong Khuong - Hoang Su Phi

The ride from Muong Khuong to Bac Ha will be on a very beautiful hidden road along Chay river, that have not been popular by tourist. Arrive Bac Ha town in the afternoon you will take another off road but very interesting from Bac Ha to Xin Man. You may hardly seeing any traveler on this road and the scenery is outstanding. Keep moving to Hoang Su Phi where you will have a chance to admire one of the greatest terrace rice fields in Vietnam. There are many photos stop along this beautiful drive.

Day 17: Hoang Su Phi

Enjoy full day travelling from one village to another to get all the uniqueness of rice terraces, suspension bridge, exotic villages of Dao, Nung, Hmong.

Day 18: Hoang Su Phi - Hanoi

Follow the highway No.2 on a 7 hour drive to come back Hanoi. Enjoy your free night to explore the Hoan Kiem Lake and some local food nearby.

Day 19: Hanoi - Cat Ba Island

In the morning we continue our motorbike tour by riding to Hai Phong on Road 5, and then put our bikes on high speed boat from Binh wharf in Hai Phong city to Cai Vieng wharf in Cat Ba island. Jump on motorbikes again to explore Cat Ba National Park on a beautiful road across the island until reaching Cat Ba town. Park our motorbikes in Beo port, cruise to Lan Ha bay, where we do swimming and kayaking. It’s as wonderful as Halong bay, but quiet and fresher. Lunch on boat before arriving Viet Hai port which is located in the other side of the island. From here to Viet Hai village, we have 2 options: take a 3.5km-hike inside or let locals ride us in by scooter.

Day 20: Cat Ba - Hanoi

Take the same way back to Viet Hai port and cruise back to Cat Ba town by shorter way. We’ll have time to ride around the town before having lunch here. Almost the same way back in the afternoon.

Day 21: Hanoi city tour - Hanoi departure

For culture immersion, you will see Temple of Literature, the first University of Vietnam then Museum of Art, concluding in West Lake experience Tran Quoc pagoda and enjoy the sunset with Hanoian.
If time permits, we will have a nice time at Museum of Ethnology before heading to Noi Bai airport for your departure.
