Day 01: Luang Prabang Arrival

Upon your arrival in Luang Prabang, our guide will welcome you for the hotel transfer.
The day is left free for your own leisure and personal appreciation of Luang Prabang City

Day 02: Luang Prabang City Tour

Situated where the Nam Khan River meets the Mekong, lies the fabled city of Luang Prabang - the former capital of Laos and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With its lantern lit streets, lined with a mix of faded colonial mansions and sparkling mosaic temples, this city is known to enchant its visitors. Have breakfast at the hotel then enjoy a half-day tour through Luang Prabang. Begin with a visit to the Royal Palace Museum, then head to the magnificent Wat Xiengthong - representative of classic Laotian architecture, before seeing the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrines of Wat Aham and Wat Mai.
The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 03: Luang Prabang - Pak Ou Cave

After breakfast, take a short walk to the boat pier. We board the boat and begin our cruise along the amazing Mekong which takes us past idyllic scenes of rural riverside life and spectacular scenery until reaching the beautiful Pak Ou Caves which sit amongst the limestone cliffs where the Mekong and Nam Ou rivers meet. The caves are spilt in two, one named Tham Ting and the other Tham Theung. They are both filled with thousands of Buddha images and statues which have been deposited here over centuries.
A short distance away from Pak Ou Caves we visit the village of Ban Xang Hai which has for centuries made the clay jars which are used to ferment Lao wine. Nowadays the tradition continues however the village now also specialises in producing a wide range of ‘Lau Lao’ Lao whisky and ‘Lau Hai’ Lao wine. Be sure to try just a little before we head of back down river to Luang Prabang in the late afternoon.

Day 04: Luang Prabang - Vientiane

Your day is at leisure until our driver transfer you to the airport for your flight to Vientiane.

Day 05: Vientiane City Tour

We spend the whole day to set out on a sightseeing tour of Laos’ eccentric capital, visit all the city’s key attractions. Start the tour with a stop at Vientiane’s oldest temple, Wat Si Saket, filled with over 2,000 ceramic, gold, and silver Buddha images. Next we visit Haw Pha Kaew - the Royal Temple that once housed the famous Emerald Buddha, before continuing on to Laos’ most significant national monument: Pha That Luang. Conclude your tour at Patuxai, known as Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph.

Day 06: Vientiane - Hanoi (Vietnam)

Your day is at leisure until our driver transfer you to the airport for your flight to Hanoi.
Upon your arrival, our tour guide will welcome you at the airport and transfer to your hotel.
Hanoi is a vibrant city which boasts a rich history from Ly Dynasty in A.D 1010. From the narrow, bustling streets of the Old Quarter to the charming colonial buildings, shady avenue, blissful lakes, the city of Hanoi demonstrates its own uniqueness combining the west and the east.
The first experience in Hanoi commences with a nice walk in the Old Quarter and welcome dinner.

Day 07: Hanoi - Bai Tu Long Bay

A private transfer will take you from Hanoi to Halong Bay this morning.
Depart from Tuan Chau, meet the on board team and receive a safety briefing. Acquaint yourself with the five elements cuisine with lunch on board, while the cruises leisurely towards to Vung Ha area. Enjoy your time at Vung Ha Beach for swimming in the emerald waters and other recreational activities on the beach. 
Back to boat to join a Cooking demonstration. In the evening, relax with a drink or enjoy squid fishing from the main deck with crew members. 
The boat will anchor for the night in a peaceful location in Bai Tu Long Bay.

Day 08: Bai Tu Long Bay - Cat Ba Island - Lan Ha Bay

Start the day with Tai Chi on the sundeck of the boat while enjoying the panorama.
After breakfast on board, visit the Vung Vieng by rowing traditional bamboo boats for about an 01 hour. Later on, come back to the boat and take a tour of the Captain's Bridge and the Engine Room. After that, savour a delicious lunch while the ship cruises towards Lan Ha Bay and Cat Ba Island for a guided biking or hiking excursion in the national park of Cat Ba Island. Another option for visiting the island and the organic farm is to use the electric cart service available (at a bit of extra cost). After that, kayak and swim in Viet Hai Lagoon.

Day 09: Lan Ha Bay - Hanoi

After breakfast, take a short guided tour to visit Sung Sot (Surprise) Cave - one of the most beautiful cave in Halong Bay. Then, go back onboard to prepare for check out: your bags must be put in the corridor. You can also join a Vietnamese traditional tea ceremony. Finally, the ship disembarks in Tuan Chau and return to Hanoi by shuttle bus/private car.

Day 10: Hanoi - Mai Chau

Leave Hanoi for a scenic drive to Mai Chau valley this morning. 
Mai Chau is home to White Thai and Muong minorities who settled their traditions in this beautiful mountainous area since the XI century. 
Upon arrival, sample the traditional, tasteful Thai food and relax by the rice field.
For afternoon tour, take a walk to the scenic Buoc village, where you have opportunity to meet friendly local farmers working on their rice paddies. Your guide will be very pleased to let you participating in their daily works and visit some random houses where you experience their genuine hospitality. 
This evening`s highlight is the traditional Thai dance.

Day 11: Mai Chau - Hanoi Departure

After breakfast, we will spend more time to learn about Thai`s culture, seeing some of the traditional work of making silk, bricks and wander along the lush valley from Pom Coong to Van village. 
In the afternoon, come back to Hanoi. Your day is at leisure until your departure fight.
